Speak - While this is an all-season itinerary, this is popular in
Summer where objective is to beat summer heat. For Winters, guests
prefer to combine with Amritsar / Katra. To counter low temperatures
in Winter at Mcleodgunj, guests may opt to stay around plantations at
Palampur or Dharamsala which are significantly lower heights and
therefore enjoy warmer temperatures. |

Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the
activities can be customised as per season and guest preferences)
Day 1 - Arrive in Pathankot / Chakki Bank
Station or Dharamsala Airport (Gaggal). Proceed to Dalhousie. Dalhousie
is a British-era hill station located at 6000 ft above sea level.
Relax for rest of the day.
Day 2- Full Day sightseeing to Khajjiar
(22 kms), Chamba(50 kms from Dalhousie same route as Khajjiar).
Day 3
- Relax and visit few local sightseeing spots (Churches, Barkota Hills, Kalatop
view points etc.) and shops in the evening.
Day 4 - Proceed to
Dharamsala / Mcloedgunj (140-150 kms). Visit Dalai Lama Temple at Mcloedgunj, Bhagshu Nag Temple
at Bhagshu and in the evening visit local shops at Mcloedgunj
Day 5
- Day Sightseeing to Visit Chamundadevi Temple and Palampur Tea Gardens (65 kms
one-way). Alternatively visit Naddi Area and do a short-trek, nature walk around
the area. Optionally guests can opt for walking around the area and engaging in
day treks or visiting other options like Norbulingka Institute or Pongdam
etc or simply relax or visit local tibetan market for shopping.
Day 6 - Proceed to Gaggal Airport (30 kms) or Pathankot (100
kms)

Palampur instead of Dharamsala.
