preferred by guests in summer who'd like visit destinations that offer good
weather along with mix of nature (Wayanad - 3500 ft asl), wildlife (Bandipur
- 3000 ft asl) and some heritage (Ooty - 6500+ ft asl).

1: Arrive Calicut - Arrive
Calicut & transfer to Wayanad. Vyhtiri (approx 65 kms) / Kalpetta (approx
80 kms)/ Sultan Battery (approx 100 kms). Day free at leisure.

2:
Wayanad - After
breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour (Sightseeing places will
depend on the location of the stay).

3: Wayanad -Bandipur (approx 100-120 kms / 2 -3 hrs)
- After early
breakfast, depart by surface to Bandipur. Arrive & check-in. Evening Safari
(starts from 03:00 Pm onwards).

4: Bandipur -Ooty
(approx 50 kms / 1.5 hrs) - Early
morning Jungle Safari. Return to hotel for
breakfast. Later, depart for Ooty.

5 and 6: Ooty
- After breakfast full
day at leisure. Ooty is a heritage hill station experience. Some of the
Colonial heritage bungalows are now fine heritage hotels and is an
experience staying here. There are view points, lake with boating and number
of other touristy sightseeing options, however the base idea always is to
enjoy good weather and green surroundings.

7: Ooty - Coimbatore (approx 90 kms / 2
hrs) OR Bangalore (approx 280 kms / 7 hrs) - After breakfast depart by
surface to Coimbatore airport / Bangalore airport.

depend on prevailing weather condition and guest preferences.

Guests
who wishes to access heritage train, should do the itinerary in reverse
and arrive at Coimbatore to stay 1 overnight at Mettupalayam and take
the train next day morning.

: Calicut gets select flights from UAE countries. Calicut gets flights from
Bangalore and Mumbai. Calicut Railway station is on the Coastal rail route
and well connected with most cities in South India and Mumbai. Coimbatore is
well connected with most major cities in South India, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and
Delhi. Guests are advised to arrive at Calicut and depart from Coimbatore or
vice versa. |
