is a popular short break combination taken out of the popular Malabar Circuit.
Kadavu is a luxury backwater resort near Calicut
and is a popular
getaway resort. Wayanad is a region full of rainforest and plantation and has

a few forest and plantation retreats. The Wayanad region (3000-3500 ft) is full
of sightseeing spots and adventure activities (Trekking etc.) Its also somewhere
guests simply like to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. Wayanad has some wildlife
possibilities but the thick forestation does not allow for good sighting. Bandipur (80-100 kms)
which is a wildlife reserve in the neighboring Karnataka offers good tiger sightings.
