Mahabaleshwar
(3000 ft) is a hill station at about 230 kms from Mumbai
and 120 kms from Pune. Panchgani is a twin hill-station 20
kms short of Mahabaleshwar (while approaching from Pune).

- Panchgani are traditionally visited for over three
generations during Summers for relaxation and away from
the warm climate of the plains.
Mahabaleshwar
has a renowned Shiva temple from which it derives its
name. Mahabaleshwar - Panchgani today is famous for its
Strawberry exports and are getaway resorts
with activities.
For
getaway seekers there is go-karting, paragliding, boating
etc. There is Mafco strawberry farm where one can enjoy a
bit of strawberry crush and other fun stuff.

kms) or Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar via Mahad (247 kms)
