Route - Mandu (2) - Bhopal (2)

Highlight - This is a Short break itinerary that covers religious destinations of Omkareshwar / Mahakaleshwar, Hill Station of Mandu and heritage destination of Sanchi and Bhopal. 

Suggested Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition and guest preferences)

Day 1 : Arrive at Indore (Railway station and Airport) and Proceed to Mandu (100 kms - upto 3 hours). Visit fort in the evening.
Day 2: Visit Maheshwar / Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (Full day visit). Come back to Mandu for overnight stay or stay at Omkareshwar or move back to Indore.
Day 3 : Proceed to Ujjain (55 kms from Indore) and visit Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and from thereon reach Bhopal (180 kms - 4 hours) by evening.
Day 4: Visit Sanchi (46 kms) / Bhimbhetka Caves (46 kms) in the morning and do local Bhopal Shopping / sightseeing / Boatride in the afternoon / evening.
Day 5: Take a flight or train back from Bhopal 

Variation - 

• Overseas Guests like to stay at Jhirabagh Palace at Dhar and Ahilya Fort at Maheswar and a relaxed Itinerary can be suggested for them to visit these two alongwith heritage palace stay at Bhopal (such as Noor Us Sabah) 

• Guest with pure pilgrimage intent may opt for Jyotirlinga Getaway Itinerary.

Accommodation Option - Indore / Bhopal - Mandu - Omkareshwar / Ujjain / Dhar 

Seasonality - Oct-March is the best time to travel to Bhopal
