Route - Indore (2 nights) or Indore (1 night) - Ujjain (1 night)

Highlight - This is a getaway that allows guests to arrive at Indore and visit two Jyotirlinga Temples around Indore i.e. Omkareshwar (77 kms) and Mahakaleshwar at Ujjain (60 kms). 

Suggested Itinerary (This is an indicative itinerary, Sequence of the activities may vary and depend on prevailing weather condition and guest preferences)

Day 1 : Arrive at Indore (Railway station and Airport) / Ujjain and Proceed to Ujjain (60 kms). Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple and return to Indore by evening.
Day 2: Visit Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (Half day visit). Come back to Indore. Guest may choose to visit Mandu (70 kms detour), an idyllic hill station before returning to Indore in the evening. Guest may also take train / flight back as per schedule or stay overnight at Indore and take a flight / train next day.

Variation - 

• Mandsaur Pashupatinath Temple could be visited as a day visit ex-Ujjain / Indore (200 / 220 kms one-way). 1 Additional night stay is recommended for that. Another option here is that guests can take train from Ratlam (90 kms) for going back home or for onward journey after a visit at Mandsaur Pashupatinath Temple.

Seasonality - Oct-March is the best time to travel to Indore. However this circuit is visited all round the year.
