Mundackal Plantation Homestay is located at 33 kms away from the Cochin International Airport, 7 kms from Kothamangalam.

This is a plantation that has rubber, pepper and coconut cultivations and is situated just 12 km from Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary and 33 kms from Cochin Airport.  The Kodanadu Elephant Training Camp (orphanage for baby elephants) which is 22 Km away. The Bhoothathankettu Dam which is 8 Km away where you can go for fresh water Boat cruise.

Accommodation is within the 100 year old family house and guest rooms have en suite facilities. Mundackal offers home cooked cuisine and gives an authentic Kerala Experience. Cookery lessons are also available.

There are totally five rooms. Two plantation rooms & three birds nests rooms. The plantation rooms have space for two more extra beds to be put in.  The other three rooms will not be able to hold more than two beds so no extra beds.  All five rooms have the same facilities expect the plantation rooms have more space and a sit out. Guests stay upto 3 nights and experience essence of Kerala.
