Orissa Short Break - Bhubaneswar (1 night) - Puri (2 nights)

Highlights - This is a Short-break Itinerary ex-Bhubaneswar to visit temples and other sightseeing areas in and around Bhubaneshwar and Puri.

Recommended Itinerary (Above is an indicative itinerary and can be customised as per your requirements).

Day 1 : Arrive at Bhubaneswar. Check in at Hotel. Sightseeing Visiting Temples, Caves and Nandankanan Zoo (Half day Sightseeing).
Day 2 : Proceed early to Puri (65 kms) after breakfast and reach Puri by 10 AM. Visit Jagannath Temple, Konark Temple during the day and take a walk on the Puri Beach in the evening.
Day 3: Proceed early for a day excursion and visit Chilika Lake. Return by afternoon and relax rest of the day.
Day 4: Proceed early (Checkout time for Hotels in Puri is 8 AM) to Bhubaneswar (65 kms) for a train or flight, alternatively Puri is also a railhead for trains all over india.

Expert Speak - One of two additional night could be spent if a luxury getaway is to be considered. In such a case combinations are Mayfair Bhubaneshwar or Trident Bhubaneshwar with Mayfair Puri or Toshali Sands Puri or Coco Palms Puri.

Access: Bhubaneswar gets daily flights from Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Visakhapattanam. Bhubaneswar and Puri are both major stations and get trains from all over india. Bhubaneswar and Puri has direct overnight Volvo Bus Service from Kolkata.
