Nashik - At 180 kms from Mumbai and about 200 kms from Pune is an Industrial town and a renowned Pilgrim centre.

Trymbakeshwar (36 kms from Nasik) is one of the 12 sacred Shiva Jyotirlinga temples in India and is a major attraction for Shiva Visitors.

There are several other temples in and around Nashik by the Godavari river. Some of the temples around Nashik have Ramayana era significance. 

Anjaneri - Off the Nashik - Trymbakeshwar road is Fort Anjaneri, believed to be the Birthplace of Lord Hanuman.  

Saptashrungi Devi Temple is situated 60 kms from Nashik (2 hours) and is considered one of the Shakti Peetha temples and have a great local and regional significance. Saptashrungi is also visited by guests to hill station of Saputara (85 kms from Nashik).
