Srisailam is 200 kms South of Hyderabad.
Srisailam is known for its Shiva Temple, Bhramaramba Mallikarjunaswamy
Temple (dedicated to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy i.e. Shiva) and is one of the
12 Jyotirlinga Shiva temples in India.
Near the Shiva
temple is a Parvati Temple known as Bhramaramba Temple and is considered one
of the 51 Shakti Peetha Temples.
Except AP Tourism
hotel, there are only small lodges for the economy pilgrim traveller segment
and therefore guests visit Srisailam as Srisailam
Getaway (Ex-Hyderabad).
