This is a Short-Break
Itinerary that combines beach and French heritage of Pondicherry with -beat plantation getaway / Hill station of
Yercaud and temple town / village retreat of Thiruvanamalai.
Speak - This is a combo that's done surprisingly less often than
it deserves. For Guests from Chennai and Bangalore, this is an
excellent driving getaway option.
- An ex-Chennai (195 kms) / Bangalore (215 kms) getaway (100 kms from
Pondicherry) and otherwise a temple town (known and visited for its
Arunachaleshwar Temple). Guests like to stay at Sparsa

rural Tamilnadu. Choose from a range of activities such as bullock cart
rides, learning to milk a cow, Pottery making etc.

Yercaud - An
Ex-Bangalore Getaway (235 kms), Yercaud (320 kms from Pondicherry) is an
off-beat plantation getaway at about 3500-4500 ft asl. Yercaud is
characterised by pleasant weather all through the year and even in monsoon
it never rains too hard and thus enjoyable. Lake
Forest is one here with a heritage charm. GRT
Sky Roca is one for those who seek comforts and good service.
- Oct-March is the best time to visit Pondicherry. Yercaud can be
visited all round the year. However short-break /
getaway nature of the circuit, it may be visited all round the year.
