- Auli
is one the best Ski Resorts in India as far as the infrastructure goes (Ski lifts,
Snow beaters, accommodation, trainers etc.). Rishikesh has the good rapids and
service providers for a White water rafting itinerary. This is a winter Itinerary
and recommended for adventure oriented individuals and Groups. Recommended
Itinerary (can be customised as per guest preferences and constraints)

Day 01 - Delhi-Rudraprayag - 362 kms. 10 hours. Rudraprayag is a
good stopover option with Riverfront and Snow peak views around.

Day 02 - Rudraprayag to Auli - Reach Joshimath - 130 kms. 5 hours. Reach before 4:30 PM to catch the last Cable Car to reach
Auli.

Day 03 to Day 7 - Enjoy Skiing and magnificent 180 degrees view of the Nandadevi Peaks. Beginners start at the Baby slopes before graduating to higher and more adventurous slopes. Experienced skiers straightway use ski lifts to reach higher slopes.

Day 08 - Auli to Camp near Rishikesh - 200 kms (7 hours). Start in the first cable car down from Auli to
Joshimath.

Day 09 - Enjoy a Run of Whitewater Rafting from Camp to Rishikesh (about 20 kms downstream with enroute halt for lunch).

Day 10 - Camp to Delhi - 280 kms. 8 hours. Reach Delhi by evening.

Snowfall
has been erratic in the region during recent winters and therefore reserve
closer to the date after checking for the snowfall status or be prepared to
other activities (Trekking) if snow is not sufficient for Skiing.. -
White Water
Rafting is operational from Sept - April End. During Non-Ski Season Rafting
can be combined with Trekking(Dhanaulti / Lansdowne) and Wildlife / Bird
Watching (Rajaji National Park / Lansdowne)
