Fort Dauphin visit as part of Madagascar trip was one filled with intrigue, adventure and experience. Nohampoana Reserve luncheon followed by the walk and boat ride was fun. The hiking to secluded beach that involved boat ride, village walk, a hike and a barbecue lunch on a windy day was one to savour for all times to come. Fort Dauphin for its scenic beaches and a harbour where cruises stop by, overall tourism is very limited, giving those who make it an exclusive experience.
