Istanbul in Oct 2024 happened as part of a family trip, as an extension of Alaska Cruise. We visited Istanbul after almost 16 years and it definitely has evolved into a bustling and most vibrant city. We took the metro to explore different corners, did the Bosphorus cruise and walked Sultanahmet and Istiklal Street to understand the overall experience. Balat, a greek locality in a quiet corner was definitely a good find.
